Privacy Policy

ThankBack ("we", "us") is a service of DautiTech, based in Belgium. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

What we collect

• Account data: your name and email address when you create an account.
• Google Business Profile data: when you connect your Google account, we access the business locations you manage, the reviews on those locations, and we post replies you approve.
• Reply settings: your preferred tone, sign-off and auto-reply choices.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type) used for security and to prevent abuse.

How we use Google user data

We use data from Google APIs only to provide ThankBack's features to you: showing your reviews, drafting replies, and posting the replies you approve (or that you have set to post automatically). We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. ThankBack's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

AI processing

To draft a reply, the text of the review and your reply settings are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes it on our behalf and does not use it to train its models. Reviews on Google are already public.

• Anthropic (AI reply generation)
• Our database provider (storage of account data and settings)
• Stripe (payments, once paid plans launch)

How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or disconnect Google, we delete your Google data within 30 days. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its processing, by emailing info@dautitech.be. You can also revoke ThankBack's access at any time in your Google account settings. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be / autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
